We also walked the Champs Elysee, went to the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph. Next is a shot of us outside of Notre Dame.
As you can see from the itinerary it was one of those see all of Paris in 48 hours trips. We took the train down from Amsterdam, a very comfortable 4 hour ride to the center of Paris and the ride home provided a much needed rest.

Zwarte Piet meanwhile was no where to be found, luckily we caught up with Piet earlier in the week and was able to get a few pictures.

Zac also played a pick-up basketball game with 3 Dutch boys, it was very interesting as Zac does not speak any Dutch, and the boys were very limited with their English. They had fun and were playing on cobblestone outside the Noordekerk a church built in 1620. Yes, you read correctly 1620!!!!

So you will not think it was all sports we have visited the Rijksmuseum, where we became acquainted with Dutch Naval History and the great Rembrandt, no pictures though because our cameras had flash and there is no flash photography allowed in the museums.
